Dame Edith Sitwell (1887-1964) said: “It's not true that life is one damn thing after another; it's one damn thing over and over.” I have received yet another final final final (?) copy of my book, Endings, to check out (not out it seems, not ever out, but over). Already I have found an error—two, actually—and I’m only up to page one. So it’s number one on my agenda today. Blog is a poor second.
