I went to TIFF to see the doc on the Anthoprocene era (now), and it is devastating. My understanding of it, the “epoch of humanity” was coming from the ex-humanist viewpoint (see my earlier blog). This film is visual, physical and tangible. I haven’t seen the exhibit at the AGO but I am told it is more up-beat, positive in its suggestions for what can be done about our tiny, over-run, shrinking, beleaguered, neglected planet.
