So it didn’t happen yet, the rest of my discussion of detritus. I wrote another scene of my screenplay, thank goodness, and I went to listen to an Icelandic writer speak about her writing and to explain clearly what happened in the meltdown and to worry about what tourists are doing to Iceland, and I’ve been watching the Blue Jays.

Iceland is very hot these days, a favourite place to visit. A few years ago tourist visits numbered about 500,000. Now that number has increased to 1.6 million. Bear in mind that the entire population of Iceland is 335,000. They don’t have the manpower or the money to handle that number. Nothing succeeds like excess.

Well, as the line goes in that forgotten movie that no one remembers: Tomorrow is another day.
