It was a lovely day.
Liz was here. She has flown in to Toronto to help Jen, her daughter, in her post-op recovery from back surgery last week.
She had never seen Mia and Leo before. (Meg and Matt’s children, two of my greart graendhildren). My Matt came to see everyone and he stayed for dinner. Liz left to make dinner for Jen, and Meg and family left to drive back to Orillial.
I was so happy to see them but I was tired. Matt and I had a rest and then he helped me make dinner. We had a chicken rice sfir-fry. He’s very good at chopping all the vegetables, so patient and precise. We watched part of w movie before he left at 8 p.m. I promised not to look at any more until he was back to watch the rest of it with me. But I watched another movie until midnight. ( Fool!!!)
I slept five hours and that was good.
I’m trying to catch up with today, adding to my iists for The Joy of Aging.
What next?
