finally!

I finished my library report.

In the end, the longest task is to go over it for typos. I can spell but my typing is getting worse all the time.

I think it’s proofed enough that I can start showing it to other people. It’s too long, of course, but I can live with that, for a while. I can use parts of it for other things.

It’s nice to be able to cannibalize my own work, and to have enough to cannibalize. Other than that, I have a surprise:

A physiotherapist came to see me today to teach me some new exercises to help my legs get stronger. He says I’m in pretty good shape. They all have to say that to give you some encouragement. I worked hard to impress him. I’m going to be STIFF tomorrow.

Did I tell you I decided this week that I am retired?

I have to get used to the idea but it seems an attractive thought. I can begin to forgive myself for being such a lazy goof, not that retired people are lazy goofs. Just me. Was. Not any more.

Do you believe that?

I’ll get back to my files next week. I may develop a different perspective. That would be good.

I’ll think about it.
