busy day, no time to write

It’s almost over. Busy. I’ll explain before the day is over, I hope.

Anon.

Much later. The ICCT (Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto) was having an event today and the book that I gave them the rights to had been published, ready to sell. I offered to come and autograph it for any interested buyers. The venue was some distance away, an expensive taxi distance. I asked for a ride with a request for an early ride home for me to be in time for Sunday dinner with Matt, who is coming again regularly on the clear understanding that Sunday dinner is a given and not negotiable. It was hard work for me because the chair I sat in was wooden and cushionless. Painful. But they sold a few books. I hope they sell many more.

I made dinner and we roamed the internet, looking for ideas for a present or presents for me to buy for Matt’s birthday this coming Tuesday.

I stayed up to view Episode 5 of 1923, the prequel to Yellowstone, which I will begin to watch when this brief series is over.

I didn’t used to be like this.
