Remember Thumper, the rabbit, in the movie Bambi? He was quoting his mother when he said “If you can’ t say anything nice, don’t say nothin at all.” Bad grammar but good advice.

So…

I seem to have lost yeserday, but I lived it. I swam in the afternoon about 3 p.m. The sum was shining .

No matter what Siri says when I ask it (Not much sun today,; cloudy today; No, sun today; Not much sun in the forecast today), somehow the sun breaks through the gloom and beams on the swimming pool. Well it doesn’t always beam, exactly, but it peeks and the light is generous and I throw up my arms in a joyous greeting. Really.

It makes my day.

I swim in the sunshine now at noon or between 3 and 4 p.m.

That’s something nice and I’m grateful.

We’ll see what happens today.
