if at first...

I wrote a bit of blog and lost it.  I’ll do it again on Word and transfer it so as not to lose it. I just have to be patient.  You do too.

It wasn’t only being terribly busy—everyone is terribly busy these days—it was not quite knowing how to deal with my double-layer discussion: food and names. It seemed easier to approach my problem with food first. I am a cook and I have been cooking more since my son Matt moved in with me. I’ll tell you more about that later.

I get the Sunday NYT paper and the digital daily Manchester Guardian. Both papers have cooking columns written by several cooks who reflect and respond to their followers, like me, and fans, like those who write comments and change the recipes, promising to repeat them and add them to their repertoire.  They are very diverse and it’s as hard to spell or even recognize their food as it is to spell their names. There, that’s the key word: diverse.

Diversity  no matter where  or how you bring it in or up….
