no blog yesterday

I went to the Ballet—the National Ballet—open after ? years of being in lockdown, like the rest of us.

Lovely! An unexpected pleasure, organized by a friend. So I missed yesterday and I’m tired today (slow recovery time), but relaxed and stimulated and optimistic.

I made split pea soup and I’m working on my Icelandic National League newsletter but I should have time today to write a blog—I’m still thinking about Zoom meetings.

Anon, and on and on—Everything takes longer now than I estimated—Not sure I can finish this tonight.

TEN THINGS I DON’T LIKE ABOUT ZOOM (in ascending order of dislike. Number One is the worst)

1 Looking at myself on the screen

2 Looking at others on the screen

3 Getting a headache from looking

4 Coping with the battery on my laptop (if I forget to recharge I have to move to a chair closer to an electrical outlet)

5 Getting too tired. The more people get used to Zoom meetings the longer (later) they talk.

And speaking of batteries, mine is running out and I’m being warned to shut down. I’m ready….

Tomorrow is another day.
