I’m the new newsletter editor on the Board of the Icelandic National League of North America. Last week I followed up a lead on a story I think my readers will enjoy, about Icelandic sheep farming in Canada.I just happened to be going to Beaver Valley for a few days and I knew that my hostess has a near neighbour (I didn’t know how near!) who raises Icelandic sheep, so I asked for an interview. My fellow guests, all writers, came along and it turned out to be the highlight of our retreat. And a bonus for me because they know how to make their phones take pictures, so I got some pictures for my story. If I can I’ll try to send you one - not easy for me, you understand.
