And so it happens. I volunteered to do the newsletter (only 4 times a year) for an organization I belong to), but it imploded: major changes in to be reconciled and worked out. Suddenly I had 24 emails with submissions to condense and report by yesterday - well, Wednesday latest. I keep promising myself: next week, next week. Not this week, anyway.
