Gaiman was the end of me..

All ten episodes of the first season of the new show on Netflix—THE SANDMAN. I was riveted to it and I got a stiff neck. And I didn’t feel like eating or have time to cook so I had Lean Cuisine two nights in a row (different flavours). And i spent tonight looking up Tom Sturridge, who plays Dream aka the Sandman and it’s late and I’m going to bed.

And that’s all.

you wonder what happened

I do, too.

Yesterday disappeared. I cooked a lot. I swam. I ached a lot.

Yesterday I made hummus, with chick peas. Pre-dinner appetizer for a friend, with a drink. She had hummus for lunch. I don’t like hummus. So I’ll give it away.

I still don’t know what happened to yesterday.

Neil Gaiman, I guess. I like him. I’ve read and own a lot of his work.

Article in the NYT about him, and a new series based on his book(s), The Sandman. I read the essay and kept it.

Why do I do that? Why do I keep saving things?

But last night, as I was checking the mail, or whatever, before I went early to bed, I took a peek at NETFLIX. The new series, THE SANDMAN,, is now streaming. I saw the teaser, and forgot about bed.

That’s what happened.

More Gaiman to come.
