My friend and mentor, Richard, is coming for lunch. We will eat in in my apartment and I will have the food brought from the dining room, because Richard won’t go anywhere without his dog and his dog will bark ii it is left alone here, so we will eat with the dog. Dogs are not allowed in the dining room

Richard is a writer and my friend and mentor. I have written a couple of books on suggestions from him thab because I am in a different space literally and having trouble adjusting, and also because I can’t find an approach to the cluea I have been receiving— plenty of material but I have to fiind a frame for iti.

I’ve been up for 4. hours waiitng for Breakfast. It’s Egg Day (Wednesday and Saturday). I used to have a soft-boiled egg every morning for breakfast. I love soft-boiled eggs. They serve cold hard-boiled eggs here. But twice a week you can order eggs, any style. I order 2 o r 3 eggs (sometimes 4) Over Easy, hot off the pan so they don’t continue to cook in their own heat. I go early to ensure that. I’m just waiting for the dining room to open. It’s nice to have such a good thing twice a week.

LATER: It wasn’t a productive day but I managed to keep busy. I do exercises most mornings with different leaders and some movements are quite difficult—hard on my muscles.I guess / /hope I’m getting better.
