happy valentine's day

Have a good day..

LATER:

It was a lovely day. The concert over noon lunch was by a superannuated hippie, a man in his late 40s or 50s born into the wrong decade. He had a good voice and chose nice songs from ny daughters’ vintage, and his daughter’s too, I think. Every one at table stayed on, smiling and nodding until the concert ended and we all applauded..

The dinner concert was s solo would-be soprano, a man with a nice tenor who thoiuight he was Whitney Houston. We didn’t applaud but we approved his choice of songs.

We were advised to wear “red attire” if we could. I couldn’t. As anyone will tell you who knows me I like any colour as long as it’s blue. I wore blue and white.

And dinner was good.

catching up

I used to use a lot of icing sugar at this time of year, beginning with February seventh to the thirteenth e to thtwenty-first to March first, narrowly escaping February twenty-ninth, Wlliam’s due date, which he avoided.

I have to write Kate this morning She’s Aquarius and I’m just over the cusp, into Pisces. I want to tell her how glad I am that she was born.

But I must eat breakfast first before the dining room closes. I’ve been up since before 6 a.m.. checking the mail for RSVPs to my dinner party invitations.

I’ll be back.

Let me remind you that Friday the thirteenth is a lucky day.

Enjpy!

LATER. yes, but today is Thursday the 13th.

And I did a lot but I haven’t written my blog yet.

There’s still time.
