That’s all I know, for sure.

I spent all day yesterday with papers, scripts, and clippings and excerpts ,samples or pitches of my writing, plus a few whole scripts plus books, the last of my bedroom bookcases. Next and last, before my diaries, are my “seedbeds”, the provenance or catalysts or triggers of new work and ideas, better than a compost heap—in my office.

Now the hard work begins. I must be ruthless.
