WHERE……..

HERE IT ISHere I am

Good evening, Betty Jane…I hope you passed the day in some degree of comfort… my day was tedious, to be honest, because I devoted myself to that dreaded task…”catching up.”…burned out the shredder….the printer went kaputz…I think the lesson here is to delegate…box up the to be shredded and send them out to a bonded company…forget me trying to print out forms and let my accountant have the job…too much work and no play….I succumbed to indulging (mightily) in sweets…
When I give the tasks to others, I should have more time for play, although I’m sure I’ll be indulging in a sweet or two…
When I was a child, sweets, from the candy store, that is, were a special Saturday event…I had a friend whose grandpa used to give each of us a quarter! We skipped to the corner store and gazed dreamily at all the confections…a whole quarter got us each some candy, and a comic book to read, too! Under the shade of the tree, we munched happily and relaxed with our comic books…perhaps I’ll find a tree to sit under…and replay the simplicity of those times…back to 1954 or so…something special about reading under a tree…I used to take my little pupils outside when the classroom was baking in the June heat, and we’d find some shade and I would read to them, putting us all in a trance…
Well, enough rambling for this evening, I guess…it’s 9.30 and there’s a cool breeze coming in the bedroom window which should make for a comfortable night…I wish for you a comfortable night, also…

Well, all I said was that I´´m the one who ramblles and she writes a decent blog.

The farro and mango salad, my lunch, .was okay but I added my fresh fruit cup dessert and that made it better. Farro is very humble and it deserves to be.
