Kate and I wished each other Happy Day. She cooked Pancakes last night for Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday, Pancake Day.
I used to do that, when I had kids at home. Buttermilk pancakes, from a recipe given me by an older friend who claimed she bought it from a professional cook. I never charge for my copy. I gave it to my first cookbook. The Encore Book, McLelland and Stewart, 1981 I think.
It’s nice to keep the tradition going, when there is time.
