I have just made a Christmas list and it’s a lesson in gratitude—all the people I want to thank for being.
Now I must have breakfast, and I have some cooking to do.
More lists.
It will be a good day.
Make it so.

Oy, the files.
I was too tired to do much in the kitchen after Matt left and all my devices were charging or resting or being stubborn and it was too early to go to bed. So I read files, of course., from a thick collection labelled Correspondence. Two hours later I went to bed leaving multi-tasked files in my wake.
Correspondence is hard to categorize. It’s a whole Bankers’ Box—or more? I have Personal—too broad.—have to break that down. I have Family, Close Friends, Occasional Friends, Business (Submissions, Promises, Pitches, Rejections, No Hard Feelings)—and much more, but I can’t bear to look at them yet. I’ve had breakfast, took a while to figure out what to eat. I was so hungry I felt sick at the thought of food, or of the files. I had to pause and think about it. Now I have herbal tea to settle my stomach/nerves. I may have my nap soon.
Later…
Pat, you make me feel as if I’m stronger than I am. Thank you for that.
