It’s Matt’s apartment mate’s birthday tomorrow but Matt works tomorrow so we are having a party for him today. It’s not warm enough to be on the balcony but it will be soon—Wednesday we hope.
I will report later.

What a lovely day! I’m more relaxed then I’ve been for ages.,
My son and his wife treated me to an early Mother’s Day celebration, starting with a mani-pedi, a little help with some essential shopping, followed by champagne , tea sandwiches and strawberry shortcake for lunch. I lay down when I returned home but I didn’t set the alarm. (I always set an alarm and I always ask for 30 minutes or less.) So I slept for over two hours! And then I didn’t work. I sort of house-cleaned my e-mail, which needed it. I didn’t feel like eating or drinking. I had part of a Lean Cuisine and a glass of milk. And now I am waiting to be able to go to bed—not this early!
