happy april first

We live in hope….

Well, it has been a grey, dull day, on the cool (cold) side, but not below 0 C—is that readable? Would it look better like this:

Zero C ?,

No matter, it’s “3 degrees outside”, according to my Siri.I think she measures it at the airport. She must think me very dull. I ask her the temperature, sometimes the weather, often the time, but I never ask her for music. I don’t have any where she can find it. I don’t know where that would be. There is so much I don’t know—more all the time. Don’t tell me.

This is not a blog, it’s a bleat.

I’ll give you a blog.

Soon.

last day of march

Never mind what T.S. Eliot said about April, it has to be better than March.

This has been a strange week for me, less work/pressure in one way but with a little angst at that. My computers all have their glitches caused by me, I’m sure, so I have no one to blame. Next week I start gathering my papers for my income tax return. My older son is going to file it for me , but the gathering is hard. I’m good at words, I’m bad at numbers.

How I would love to write an academic, detached blog! I have file folders full of ideas but I have not looked at them in a while. Next week, or the next, I will go after them with ruthless determination to send them off to limbo or to my university, whichever comes first. It may be the end of my blogs.

Imagine being blogless!
