too late too soon

I’ve been a lump at the lake (pond) in Maine, a pampered guest, with my son Matt, of his sister, my daughter, Kate and her husband, Matt’s favorite brother (in-law). Today we have to go back to the city before we can fly away because we have to get Covid19 tests again—in the negative—before we can board the plane.

It rained all day yesterday. I love rainy days at the lake. Today the sun is shining and I wish it would rain some more because it’s easier to leave in the rain.

Anon, anon….

still more time

I’m still not up to speed—whatever speed is appropriate at my age. I’ve been here (on my vacation in Maine) and still worrying and making lists for when I get home and wondering how to thank my plant-sitter, etc., and I’m sleeping and eating a lot. Going all to pieces, not much time for other things. But I have written a few essential letters and I am trying to blog again (as you see) so the future is not all bad.

I’m also thinking about my menus and grocery lists, but just casual thoughts, nothing serious, nothing heavy-duty. I am not doing anything. Isn’t that wonderful? You should try it, if you can.

I am blessed, indeed.
