life goes on

It’s the next day but it’s limbo time, too early to be the next day and to late to be yesterday. Like this poor blog, half way between bleat and journal. What happened to my ideas and words and detached meditation?

Dunno.

In the meantime, my journal, my diary, mon sembable, ma soeur, has become a menu-planner and endless grocery list. Not very creative but a friend used it recently to check out my blog when I discussed how to use up an overage of ham (there’s always an overage of ham).

When is a blog not a blog?

life is what happens when you were making other plans

That’s a famous line, most often attributed to John Lennon. It happens to all of us all the time so it ‘s a universal thought, I am sure. It happens to me too often. Each day I plan to write a blog but obviously it doesn’t always happen. Matt is having surgery tomorrow for skin cancer. We have to be at the clinic by 7:45 a.m. so I have a lot to do to get ready; we have to be there for 5 or 6 hours, while they dig and test and dig and test, to be sure to get it all.

So no blog tonight.
