git along, li'l bloggie

Well, I got up (arose) at 1:30 a.m. and it’s now 3:18. I picked up the most recent pile of scanned (by me not a machine) material intending to choose one to share with you.Two hours later, here I still am—blogless. I am overcome by “informational effluvium”. The only relief will be to go back to bed (re-retire?).

Perhaps I will see you in the morning, later in the morning, that is. Whenever.

fear of filing

More paper. Still collecting my files for the University (Manitoba) archives. I keep finding more and more interesting stuff. I try to toss and I do—a lot—but there is so much I want to pursue and peruse and I find more blog material, too.

I keep remembering and repeating that line:

“The world is so full of a number of things

i’m sure we should all be as happy as kings.

That’s from A Child’s Garden of Verses (1885) by Robert Louis Stevenson (185-1894), who also wrote Treasure Island and Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Go figure.
