I have discovered the best way to get rid of phone solicitations. The phone rings and I croak hello in my non-existent voice, and they hang up on me!

Good thing I wrote earlier today. I have gone to ground, that is, to bed. One week to go, to get better, I hope. There is no deadline like a Christmas deadline. Very unforgiving.
