that’s a line from a play of mine:
life is so daily. why cant i get used to it?
inexorable, in fact.
both my my projects have reared up.
just keep going

Full many a gem of purest ray serene,
The dark unfathom'd caves of ocean bear:
Full many a flow'r is born to blush unseen,
And waste its sweetness on the desert air.
Not that i’m a flower, but chance (and timing and luck) has a lot to do with productivity, let alone creativity.
i used to say, in my Other Life, that my writing was dependent on NO birthdays or dinner parties, NO special events, NO measles or mumps, NO PD Days, etc.
Since then, in my arrogance and good health (luck)i i thought it was my right to write.
i will again, soon…
