déja vu all over again

But this time it's something new: a new adaptation and staging of the history plays, re-done as Rebellion and Redemption. Leaving now, back tomorrow.

Anon, anon

Another dear OLD friend is gone, someone I have known for 70 years. There are so few of us left. We’re thin on the ground now (thicker IN the ground - ouch). Margie and I were sorority sisters ( in those days so long ago); we attended each other’s weddings, celebrated our children’s births and achievements. Geography separated us, and our relative economy. I hadn’t seen her for several years. As her health deteriorated, I gather, she stopped answering my generic or personal letters. She was on my list this year to see in my pilgrimage to old folks. Too late.

Too late smart, too soon old.
