pillow talk

Piles of comfy pillows in co-ordinating colours are considered a fashionable accent to any bed. They are, however, very hard to live with.  Piled up in a pleasing symmetrical arrangement  they announce "designer" to the discerning.  But what do you do when you want to go to sleep? You pile  them up asymmetrically and they leave you with a space on your side of the bed about the width of a crib.  You need more room than that.  So much for king size. Or, you can toss them on the floor but they'll get dirtyl I pile mine up to form a backrest so that when I wake early I can sit up, lean back and write.  Another noodge.

a black hole

My sense of direction is abysmal, no, non-existent  I have a black hole in my brain where directions are concerned.  There is no up down or sideways,  no back and forth, no front and back, no where, no how. Yesterday it took me over three and a half hours to get to where I wanted to go, a distance requiring less than an hour to drive.  I drove three sides of a square to get to my destination. On the other hand, I made very good time.
